Fresh Fish & Chips at the Edmonds Ferry Terminal

SPUD Fish & Chips has been serving wild-caught Alaskan seafood at the Edmonds waterfront since 2015. Located in Salish Crossing at 174 Sunset Avenue, right across from the Kingston Ferry terminal, we're one of the first (and last) things you taste when you visit one of the most charming coastal towns in the Pacific Northwest.

Whether you're waiting for the ferry to Kingston, coming back from a day on the Kitsap Peninsula, or just out for a stroll along the Edmonds waterfront, SPUD is steps away. Our spot in Salish Crossing puts us at the heart of the action — near the Edmonds Marina, Brackett's Landing Beach, the iconic Edmonds Fishing Pier, and the Cascadia Art Museum.

Grab a basket of wild-caught cod or halibut, find a seat, and watch the Washington State Ferry roll across the Puget Sound toward the Olympic Mountains. It's the most Pacific Northwest meal you can have.

Edmonds, WA is a beloved waterfront city just north of Seattle in Snohomish County. Known for its walkable downtown, stunning Salish Sea views, and Washington State's first-ever designated Creative District, Edmonds draws visitors year-round for its beaches, arts scene, whale watching, and ferry access to Kingston and the Olympic Peninsula.

The city has 48 parks and over 450 acres of green space, a world-class underwater scuba diving park at Brackett's Landing, and a community deeply rooted in Pacific Northwest culture. Famous residents include travel writer Rick Steves, actress Anna Faris, and The Office's Rainn Wilson, all of whom grew up calling Edmonds home.

It's the kind of town where you arrive for a ferry and end up staying all afternoon. We think SPUD is a big reason why.

Fish and chips have always been waterfront food, and there's no better waterfront in the Seattle area than Edmonds. We use wild-caught, sustainable Alaskan cod, halibut, and rockfish, sourced responsibly and fried fresh to order. Paired with local potatoes, Tillamook Cheddar, and handmade sides, every basket is built to match the view.
